In my mind I hesitated for a moment, but before I could stop myself I heard my own voice: sure go ahead! The thought of it not being good, and me waiting anxiously for it to grow out, struck me for a moment. Only for a brief moment. Then I reminded myself that this woman knew what she was doing.
I have to honest, normally whenever I get a new haircut, it takes me a week or so to get used to it and like it. This haircut, I loved instantly. The only thing bothering me is that I didn't take the pics right after the haircut. These were taken today and my feeble attempts to somewhat recreate the awesome do she made were futile.
So take a look at this hair and imagine it a lot better-looking, more edgy and lovely. *sigh* well, she ain't a hairdresser for nothing, eh? I better invest in a proper straightening iron, not the antiquity of a brick I have.

The back of my head. As you can see it's quite short, then it gets longer as it nears my jawline. Sorry for the bad quality, it was taken on my mom's macbook, since I still can't find my camera.
Oh yeah... btw, I grew out my eyebrows again. All of it. It took me a long time to grow out the ends but I managed to do it eventually. I will never ever overpluck again. It looked awful on me!

Welcome back! :) The cut really suits you :) I know what you mean about the getting used to part, I get like that all the time :(
Oooooo!!! NICE. I love it, Chi!! <3
ooo very chic! i still need to find a hair dresser i can trust enough to say: do whatever!
Ohhhh, I love this new do!!!!
That's the cut I used to get when I was in school (ban on haif length: no longer than shirt collar). But it was my mum that did it! ;)
Thanks you guys! It took me an entire lifetime to find one. My friend introduced me to this one last year and told me she had used the same her entire life and could nothing but praise her. Her hair was always lovely so I gave it a shot. The firts two times I said: do whatever but keep it long enough for me to pull into a ponytail (just in case) now after I know her better and what she's capable og, I feel confident to put my hair in her hands...
you're looking Chic in the bob! work it girl ;)
Ahhh i have hairdresser phobia after the last haircut.. she chopped off more than I asked for, and i only asked for a "trimmed" GRR!
You're so lucky you trust your hairdresser so much :)
it's so nice 2 b able 2 TRUST your hairdresser! real pretty haircut & very summery too.
Oh WOW! Chi you look SO SO SO good! That last photo is amazing. You're gorgeous!
ooooo i LOVE this bob on you...
short hair <3
i like your new 'do. it's cute and refreshing. perfect for summer!
oh, btw, what straightening tool do you have? I've been using the same one for years made by CHI (pun not intended). Mine is the 3-inch one because my hair used to be long and thick, but they also have 1-inch tools much suited for shorter hair.
At the oment I haven't any. I just apply some straigthening balm in my palms, rub them together and then apply it in my hair before I blowdry. My hair is usually quite striahgt. I've got my eye one the ghd straightener now in white. It looks awesome but there's a waiting list and I'm on it. The hairdresser used it on me and the results were magnificent. Can't wait to get it!
hey Chi
