Music from my childhood :)

I came across this video on youtube a few days ago, just sitting by myself doing nothing as usual and one thing led to another. Before I knew it it was 2 am and waay past my bedtime.

This song: Everytime you go away, along with One more night by Phil Collins, were my favorite songs when I was 4-5 years old. While my peers ran around and listened to children's songs I rocked away to Paul Young, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner and more. Why? My parents never bothered to have us lsiten to what other children listened to. So whatever my dad listened to I did too of course.

Imagine me as a 5 year-old kid where everytime my dad had friends over or company he would call me over and ask what song I would like to hear. In addition I couldn't really speak English yet, at that time it was limited to Chinese and Danish, so my answer would be something along the lines of this: WAAN MOAH NAII! (that would be: "one more night" in case any of you were wondering)

This of course generated not so few laughters so I did this just about everytime my dad entertained. Of course later on I grew out of all that and into whatever mainstream it was at the time to fit in. Gahd! Nowadays I can't even remember why I did that and I can't believe I let myself feel the peer pressure there.

Anywhoodle, listening to these 80's classics brought me back to a happy but distant time. A blast from the past so to speak and I'd just like to share that moment with you guys.

Enjoy!
