Red, gold and green...

Hey Lovelies ^_^

Just the other day, one of the biggest and most important parks in Copenhagen celebrated its 100th birthday. I would say the importance of this park is the equivalent to Central park for New York, Hyde Park for London and Tiergarten for Berlin.

The A.P Møller foundation had donated a large sum for modernization so that new additions such as lighting of the paths, new and improved skate park, an indoor dance stage, a soccer field and many other things I can't remember at the top of my head are made possible.

To mark this day, 3 new trees were planted since 100 years ago the mayor planted the first tree in the park. The hope was that back then, the area was a poor neighbourhood and that this park would give the entire area a face lift.

When we got there there was a huge tent with a band playing, a humongous cake =D and speeches from the Lord Mayor, mayor of environment and technology (?) and Mærsk McKinney Møller's daughter who is also in the board for the foundation.

The weather was nice and there were sooo many people in the park that day.

The cake represents the vision and how the park hopefully will look like one day. I love the little details, too cute!




















I couldn't make an entry without having an FOTD. So I give you here the make-up I wore that day inspired by nature. Green and golden eyes with berry-red lips.

Got the blues...

Hey Lovelies ^_^

Going out the other day I didn't know what look to do so I dragged out some of my drugstore cosmetics and played around with those.


If you guys are wondering about "eyes-only" shots then it's because my skin isn't exactly behaving just yet but it's getting there. Just gotta keep up with the rubbing the salve in every night.

On to the EOTD:

A light shimmery beige applied on inner 1/3 of eyes and browbone
a medium taupey brown applied on center of lid
a light blue e/s applied in the crease
a darker blue applied on outer V

all shadows blended together







Holy cow, don't I look cross-eyed in these pics? Haha!

Package from New York!

I was brushing my teeth when someone was at the door, haha. The postman must''ve thought I had rabies or something because he looked at me in a funny way with a smile on his lips. (Note to self, wipe toothpaste off mouth before answering door in future)Of course I couldn't really be bothered with all that because in my hands was a package from the humongoussized-chocolateegg-producing Etherealprey.

Upon opening the package I can see a postcard from New York ^^


Eep! Haha! Cosmetics! NYX eyebrow pencil and lipliner, Covergirl lash exact mascara, Hard candy oil blotting sheets, hyaluronic acid sheet mask from The Face shop, L'Oréal HIP liner. So excited when I saw this, none of these brands are available in Denmark ^0^



Holy cow! I'd like to live in New York if these are the kind of samples they give you!! A mini Lancôme duo eyeshadow palette, a Dior lipstick, almost fullsize I believe and a lovely bronzey eyeshadow that's quite big when keeping in mind that it's a sample.


Woot! Samples galore!! Can't wait to try these babies out! \(^o^)/


Ooh... she knows I have a sweet tooth, gummy candy in all sorts of flavors, a rice krispies snack and the three postcards she sent me.


As if all of that wasn't enough, I also got an Essie nailpolish in "Not now" a pink that's very nice for the warm weather that is coming.


Haha, I saw my grandmother eyeing all the goodies and I asked if she wanted to try the nailpolish. In traditional Chinese, humble manner, she shook her head but I could see that she was aching to try it. So I pulled her hand to me and started painting away. Look how happy she is, showing off her new sexy nails!!

Just ending this post by showing a tree in our garden right outside my window. I love it, every time it's in bloom, I know that spring has come. Unfortunately the blossoms are only in bloom for a week, so this time I thought I'd capture it and share with you guys.
