Unfortunately a week before I was supposed to go, he fell, while carrying flower pots, and hurt his arm. By this time he had already agreed to be a test group subject to a drug still in the stages of development, with the purpose of making his blood less coagulant. He took doses of Warfarin and this other drug. However after the fall, his arm started swelling up and his entire arm and hand looked severely bruised. These pictures I took before leaving for Canada but after I got back, his entire hand, save the fingertips were blue and purple. And it looked a lot worse. They decided to pause the experiment temporarily before I went but the swelling hasn't gone down either and his entire arm is full off discolored patches.
Imagine this, three times as worse.
He's staying strong. I realized that I've never written about my grandfather only my grandma so here I give you a picture of us both. He's such an awesome person and I love and respect him so much.
Rockin the gangsta look with the cap I brought back from Vancouver. ^^
Oh, btw I got a haircut in Canada. It's really short now, perfect for summer.
Take care.
