The worst thing happened to me earlier. A random stranger actually asked how far along I was. I could feel the sting to my heart while trying to maintain a smiling facade and I replied that I certainly wasn't pregnant. Then as to add oil to the flames, he proceeded by asking me if I was absolutely sure.
GRAARGH! @#$%^&*!!??!!! I was swearing worse than a South Park episode on the inside while trying suck in my stomach with all my might and muscle while stating loud and clear that I was VERY sure that I was NOT pregnant!
When I later had a chance to catch my reflection in a mirror I could see that the shirt just wasn't right for me. The cut on it made me look a lot bigger than I was but it still didn't justify the fact that a random stranger would think that I was pregnant.
Yes, I admit that the shirt was old but I didn't exactly feel like changing into something less comfy just to go to the supermarket to pick up milk. I guess that I'll have to take it like it it from now on. Get changed before grocery shopping or take the consequences.
Or... I could just get off my lazy bum, put on the frumpy shirt and exercise some more to prevent situations like these happening in the future.

i have one of those empire waist shirts too, and i will have to say, it makes me look like i'm due too. however, it's sooo comfy to wear.

How insulting that he asked if you were sure!! Some people are just down right rude and tactless...but trust me almost everything I wear makes me look pregnant nowadays so you aren't alone! But I am positive you didn't look preggers :)

I kinda have the reverse situation as you. Some guys at my work are trying to spread this rumor that I'm bulimic. Wth, I know right?
