What I especially like about this place is the mix of old, traditional buildings and the new modern architectural pearls. 200 years ago, Copenhagen used to be a lot smaller, therefore there is even a "summer" residence known as Rosenborg castle in the middle of the city which used to be on the outskirts. Here are a couple of buildings that can be seen here. Denmark is relatively known for Design and architecture.

Picture of one of many canals in Copenhagen. Round tower that used to be an observatory built by King Christian IV.
Frederiks church or the Marble church with the biggest dome in Northen Europe and Rosenborg Castle(former summer residence of the Royal family)
So many more pictures that I'll post at a later time.
I hope you enjoy these!
Yes, I know that this has nothing to do with Copenhagen, but I snapped a few shots of me and my grandma (maternal) the other day. She had a stroke a few years back so she is bound to a wheelchair and can walk a little with a cane. She helped raise me and my siblings. I feel so fortunate to have not only my parents but my grandparents and my aunt raise us. Hopefully we didn't turn out to be bad seeds! :) Before the stroke she was the best cook! Noone ever taught her but it was after a lifetime of cooking that she had become so skilled. Unfortunately I didn't appreciate it enough so I only learnt 2-3 dishes from her. By the time I wanted to learn it was too late. I love her dearly!
Until next blog!

Lovely city you live in!! I love the canal. Reminds me of when I was in Belgium... I know Denmark must look a lot different, but I wish I were visiting Europe again sometime soon..
aww, my grandma recently left to go to Texas =(
You know.. you look like you have your grandma's nose and mouth.

*Awww* you and your grandma are so cute together. (: heehee. Hopefully she lives a long long life. Copenhagen is sooo beautiful! Your lucky you live there.
I can't wait to visit Europe one day!
And ♥ to you and your grandma. :)
Your city looks so beautiful, it has that old European feel to it. I wish I was living some place like that than a BORING crappy town in Cali.
You and your grandma look so happy together...it makes me want to visit my grandma right now, too bad she lives on an island on the other side of the world!
i think those pictures of you and your grandma are soooo SWEET! she looks adorable :)
and copenhagen looks beautiful. I wish my city could look as pretty but where i live there are NO hills, NO mountains, NO real lakes (only artificial manmade lakes), and there's dead grass galore and litter left and right. :( Too bad my city can't take better care of itself..it really could look much better than it does right now.
I'll have to visit Copenhagen some day :) I love to travel to beautiful places and i'll add this city to my list. Too bad it'll be like 10 years until I can visit it XD
