Sakura-inspired EOTD
Hey Lovelies ^_^
Just this Saturday there was a Hanami in Copenhagen. A few years ago, to mark the birthyear of famous writer Hans Christian Andersen, 200 years to be exact, the Japanese government donated 200 cherry-blossom trees to The kingdom of Denmark. It was quite festive, there were food stalls and people having picnics under the trees and drinking beer.
There were shows with dancing and you could try out Ikebana-flower arranging as well as attend a tea ceremony. Overall a lovely event arranged by the Danish-Japanese society.
But what really caught my eye was the delicate color of the sakura flowers. No wonder Japanese people take time off and admire these beauties.

Eyes:
Guerlain 4 eyeshadow compact: Touche de rose (they don't make this anymore I believe)
The lightest shimmer e/s on brownbone od lower inner corners of eyes
The matte light pink e/s on inner 2/3rds of eye lid
The darker rose e/s applied in crease and outer 1/3rd of lid
The darkest shimmer rose color applied along upper lashline and outer 1/2 of lower lashline

Silver Gray EOTD
Hey Lovelies ^_^
My skin is acting up so there won't be any full face shots this time.
I seem to be allergic to something but I just don't know what yet. I think I better pay my doctor a visit and perhaps get a test. Having blisters form on one's skin is def not my idea of fun -_- So, sorry but there will only be pics of my eyes this time.
Anywhoodle... on to the EOTD. I decided to do a silver gray combo on my lids this time, yeah it's prob a little heavy for spring but I thought: What the heck? This matches my mood cause I just want to cover myself up and stay at home. No light, airy garments for me... well at least this week.
A shimmery white e/s applied on inner corners upper and lower
A medium silver gray applied on entire mobile lid andmiddle lower lashline
A dark gray on outer 1/3 of eyelid, blended up to the crease as well as applied on outer 1/3 of lower lashline.

The next Rembrandt perhaps??
My sister has always been the artistic one in the family. Me? Not so much! However lately when she brought out her brushes and paint I felt an urge to at least try to be artistic as well.
Where my productions are something a 5 year-old could have done I discovered that painting has a therapeutic effect on me. It allows me to let out...let's just say things...
So here you go, I'm so generous to allow you a peak of the work of a genius painter!
Well, hope you won't laugh.... too hard...or too long!

Follow the lines...
Hey Lovelies ^_^
I decided to copy paste contest rules from my previous entry so you ladies won't miss out on the prize. It would be a darn shame if you made a lovely FOTD and wouldn't be able to win it. Remember to SEND your entry to me E-MAIL!
Copy pasted from my "Spring Look Contest" entry
Rules are very simple, make your very own version of what you see as a spring look. New looks only, old FOTDS are not accepted.
Please send: Product breakdown, step-by-step pics, closeups and whole face (full figure too with spring outfit if you wish) pics, to my e-mail: chyichyi@gmail.com please remember to write "Spring look Contest" in the subject line so I can sort out the contest entries. Feel free to post contest entries on ABB as well!
The prize will be an assortment of GOSH and Make-up Store cosmetics (picture will be available later) These cosmetics aren't widely available so this is an awesome prize!
Deadline for submission: April 30th. I will announce who the winner is on ABB and here on my blog as well two weeks after deadline. The entries in the contest will be posted as well. The winner will be chosen by me, so this will not be a popularity contest. Rules are subject to change at anytime without notice.
I will of course not be writing an entry without at least a picture of my eye make-up. The inspiration for this picture was found on the Sephora website.
Products used:
MAC fluidline in blacktrack

Lancôme khôl pencil in black
Lancôme oscillation mascara

CHOCOLATE FOTD + Update on Spring Look Contest
Hello Lovelies ^_^
I'm not going to deny it, I'm a chocoholic. I'm one of those women who view chocolate as a food up there right along the lines of proteins, carbohydrates and fibres and I have to admit that at times my chocolate intake scares even me!
So, this is something I've been wanting to do for a while, but just didn't get around to until now: An ode to Chocolate! (Note Chocolate is spelled with a capital C due to it's importance, well in my life at least)
Products used:
Lancôme khôl pencil liner in brown/black
Lancôme Oscillation mascara in black (L-O-V-E this product!)
Beige and red brown e/s from smashbox trio in Headshot
MAC Pigment in Chocolate brown
Bobbi Brown long wear gel eyeliner in Chocolate shimmer ink
Lips:
GOSH lipgloss in 0059

Update on Spring Look Contest
I've decided that there will be a 1st 2nd and 3rd place (with prizes) in this contest as opposed to before where there was only going to be one winner so don't hesitate to enter. If you have some free time on your hands then whip up a spring look and send it to me.
For further info on contest rules go to my entry on the Spring look contest
I hope to see many entries!
